Kidz Kamp

At the beginning of the Easter holidays, KidzKamp volunteers will be taking a group of primary school children aged between nine and ten years old on an exciting four days three nights trip filled with laughter. We will be taking approximately 20 children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to go on this type of holiday.

The project is run by two student project leaders and their main role is to lead regular meetings with volunteers throughout the autumn
and spring terms in organising the activities and trips for the holiday.
During the holiday, a range of exciting activities are arranged for the children, including cooking, drama, outdoor games, art and crafts
activities and also day trips to local attractions.
This is an extremely popular project, with volunteers saying that it was the highlight of their year and an excellent opportunity to learn new skills.

Volunteering Opportunities

1) Preparation towards the holiday: before the holiday takes place in the Easter holidays, we need additional volunteers to help in the fundraising and organisation of the trip! This is also very fun and exciting too!

2) For the duration of the holiday, we'll need a group of volunteers to come away with us!

The money for the trip is fundraised by the volunteers and the total cost of the project is around £3,000. Any donations or sponsorship would be gratefully appreciated and received. Please contact the project leaders if you can help.
