We are delighted to be partnering with St Mary’s University to deliver a London-based Summer School in July 2017. With its long academic history, focus on excellence and community and enviable London campus location, St Mary’s is our ideal partner for this exciting and enriching three week summer experience. The Summer School will build on the success of Warwick’s Economic Summer School which has been running since 2014. Applications are now open.

 NIESR
National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR)

Founded in 1938, NIESR’s mission is to improve understanding of the economic and social forces that affect people’s lives and the ways in which policy can bring about change. Warwick and NIESR are collaborating in a range of areas, including: research and research dissemination, policy and public engagement and executive teaching. Warwick’s Professor Roger Farmer has been appointed on a part-time basis to NIESR as its Research Director, providing intellectual leadership in the area of macroeconomics. The partnerships will also offer opportunities for student and staff exchanges between the organisations.

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)

IFAD was established as an international financial institution in 1977 as one of the major outcomes of the 1974 World Food Conference. Its purpose is to finance agricultural development projects primarily for food production in the developing countries. Warwick and IFAD are cooperating in areas relating to inclusive and sustainable development and challenges across the globe. These include: research collaboration and dissemination projects, impact assessments, exchange programmes and internship opportunities, an annual conference and training and skills development.

Ariande Capital

Warwick in London is delighted to be partnering with Ariadne Capital to deliver an innovative Executive Education course in Ecosystem Economics®. Ariadne Capital was founded in December 2000 by Julie Meyer MBE, along with founding shareholders including the founders of BetFair, Easynet, Element14, Fusion Systems, Good Data, Hotmail, SES Astra, WILINK, WorldPay and others. Ariadne pioneered the 'Entrepreneurs Backing Entrepreneurs' model for the financing of entrepreneurship across the EU, long before any other institutional venture capital fund had placed founders / entrepreneurs as their founding shareholders. Ariadne Capital is based in London and Malta.

School of International Futures
School of International Futures

School of International Futures (SOIF) was established in 2011. SOIF has worked with over 50 countries and 600 people have attended their retreats, training sessions, seminars and other events. Clients include 25 government ministries across the world from the US Office of the Secretary of Defence to the Singapore Prime Minister’s Office, international organisations such as the UN, trade bodies such as IATA, and corporations including major hydrocarbon companies and consultancies.

School of International Futures exists to support organisations use foresight to impact decision-making today. They are an independent, not-for-profit organisation based in the UK but operating around the world, that helps policy-makers and business leaders make strategic choices, manage risk and create future-ready organisations.

British School
The British School, New Delhi

Located in the heart of New Delhi, The British School offers the finest British and international education with an Indian soul. Since 2015 a team from Warwick in London have collaborated with the British School to deliver short summer courses providing a taster of British university education to sixth form students from across India. Applications for this year's Summer School are now open.

LFS
London Film School

The Department of Film and Television Studies has an exciting and ground-breaking collaboration with the world-renowned London Film School. The Department has been validating the London Film School MA programme since the beginning of 2016 and from Autumn 2017 onwards, students on the BA Film Studies degree will be able to apply for a limited number of places on a specialist third-year module in Film Production. The module will be entirely delivered by London Film School staff at Warwick and make use of a new purpose-built edit suite and set of state of the art filmmaking equipment.

 QMUL
Queen Mary University London

Global Shakespeare is a unique partnership between Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and the University of Warwick that is shaping the future research agenda in Shakespeare studies across criticism, performance, history and media, from television to digital reproduction. It is developing an exceptional interdisciplinary methodology which highlights the shared differences in approach to Shakespeare's plays, and examines the place and importance of his work in the global context. As part of this, Global Shakespeare offers an MA programme (delivered collaboratively across QMUL and Warwick, allowing students to access the wealth of scholarly and practice-based expertise at both locations), undergraduate modules at QMUL, and a range of academic events open to the public.

TATE Logo
Tate Exchange

Warwick is a Tate Exchange Founding Associate contributing to an annual programme that brings together international artists, over 50 partners who work within and beyond the arts, and the general public. Tate Exchange has over 50 UK Associates from across the country. These include charities to universities, healthcare trusts to community radio stations working within and beyond the arts. In our first year we have founding Associates at Tate Modern and at Tate Liverpool who are working closely with one another and with Tate to respond to the theme of ‘exchange’. Their participatory programme of workshops, activities and debates takes place throughout spring 2017 and will be available to view from the end of November. Warwick’s week is 13-19 March 2017.
