Celebrating Dickens: 200th birthday mobile app and documentary
Warwick has launched a new iOS and Android app and a documentary to mark the bicentenary of Charles Dickens' birth as part of a week-long celebration of one of the greatest ever authors.
In the documentary Professor Jon Mee explores the life and works of Charles Dickens and his enduring legacy. Professor Mee meets with various experts to discuss Dickens – the author, the public performer, the activist, the celebrity, the boy and the family man. Our experts also read their favourite passages from his novels.

Another successful Manhattan meet-up
Following the success of last year's event, New York City alumni ambassador David Hill, arranged a meet up with Warwick and Birmingham University alumni at an Indian restaurant in Manhattan.
Monash and Warwick form global alliance
The University of Warwick and Monash University (Australia) have signed a new agreement to create an alliance between the two universities that will clearly establish both as “globally connected Universities”.
Sport at Warwick Reunion 2012
2012 is already the biggest year of sport in our country’s history. The Olympics return to the UK after 64 years but even more noteworthy for all Warwick sporting graduates is the first ever Warwick Sports Reunion Weekend! On Saturday July 14th 2012 the University will play host to the first such reunion since the opening of the University in 1965.
Warwick Business School ranked in global Top 30
In the annual Financial Times global ranking of full-time MBA programmes, published today, Warwick Business School has climbed to 27th in the world and 9th in Europe. It comes in at 4th in the UK, behind only London and the Oxbridge business schools.
