If you missed it, you can wath the 2016 Welcome Event on this page soon.
As the new Vice-Chancellor for Warwick, Stuart would like to offer a warm welcome to the families of both new and current Warwick students. As part of the Welcome Weekend, Stuart would like to extend an inviation to parents and families to be welcomed to the Warwick community and have the chance to ask questions at an informal and friendly event.
This years welcome event featured performances from student sociteties, as well as a welcome from Stuart, and Luke Pilot the SU President. After the address, Stuart was available for tea and coffee and for the families of new students to ask any questions they may have.
This was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Warwick and the support and guidance the University offers it's students.
The Welcome Address is always very popular. Seats are not allocated in advance therefore it is important to arrive early to avoid disappointment. A certain amount of seating was reserved for those with special requirements.
If you were unable to attend, new students are invited by Stuart to attend a separate event as a welcome to Warwick. For undergraduates this takes place at 9.00am on Monday 3rd October in the Butterworth Hall, with introductions from Stuart and Luke; and for postgraduates at 9.00am on Tuesday 4th October in the Arts Centre Cinema with Stuart, and Nat, the Postgraduate Sabbatical Officer.
