Warwick takes forward partnership with goal of Californian campus

Following the recommendation of its Senate and the approval of its Council the University of Warwick is taking forward a partnership with the University Development Trust to develop teaching and research, and a physical presence for Warwick, in California.


Vince Cable announces Warwick as one of the five universities to lead Alan Turing Institute

The University of Warwick is one five universities, announced by the Rt. Hon. Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, as leaders of the prestigious new Alan Turing Institute.

The Institute will build on the UK's existing academic strengths and help position the country as a world leader in the analysis and application of big data and algorithm research. Its headquarters will be based at the British Library at the centre of London’s Knowledge Quarter.

World University Rankings table declares ten subjects at Warwick to be in World top 100

The QS World University Rankings by Subject published in April has declared 10 subjects at Warwick to be in the world’s top 100.


Warwick repeats top 10 success in UK research ranking exercise

Warwick is delighted to have repeated its top 10 success in the Government’s research ranking exercise. We were ranked as the 7th highest university with 14 academic departments ranked in the top 10 in the UK.
