Alumni visiting campus often need to access to wifi. Now alumni with swipe cards can get online using "Warwick Guest", a self-service wireless network available to short-term visitors to the University of Warwick.
To access this service you will need a suitable notebook or handheld device equipped with a Wi-Fi standard wireless adapter. Most portable devices come with this type of network connectivity installed as standard. The Warwick Wireless Network supports the common 802.11g and 802.11n standards, with 802.11n available for both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz devices.
Where can I connect to the "Warwick Guest" service?
There are currently over 2800 access points distributed across the University campus with service expansion occurring regularly. Click here for a list of locations and coverage status.
Registration for Warwick Guest is completely self-service. Once you connect your device to the Warwick Guest network, use a web brower to complete the registration process and your password will be sent to your mobile phone as an SMS text message.
