Professor Rebecca Probert
Professor Rebecca Probert joined the University of Warwick in 2002 after lecturing at The University of Sussex. Professor Probert lectures in the School of Law and specialises in Family Law.
The unifying theme in her research is the boundary between marriage and cohabitation. Amongst Professor Probert’s publications are ‘The evolution of the common-law marriage myth’ (2011),The rights and wrongs of royal marriage: how the law has led to heartbreak, farce and confusion and why it must be changed(Kenilworth: Takeaway, 2011) andLandmark cases in Family Law(Hart, 2011).
