    Links and Resources

The Department continues to collate useful web links to sources both inside and outside Warwick University, that may be of benefit to students in pursuing their degree, studying, conducting reserach and planning for their lives after study. Below are a range of links that you may find informative and supportive. If you believe you have found a link that might be added here, please contact Dr James Hodkinson.

    Warwick German Studies Web

One of our most useful teaching and reserach resources is the Warwick German Studies Web. Set up by our former specialist librarian of many years Mr Richard Parker, and now run by his successor Mr Richard Perkins, this contains links to useful external sites, specialist bibliographies - linked through to the library catalogue - to help you in your research into German language culture across the epochs (organised by theme, subject area or period), resources for teachers of German at all levels and much more.

    Transnational Resources Centre

Shared across the Modern Languages Departments of the faculty, our state of the art Transnational Resources Centre is a suite of rooms in the Humanities Building, equipped with streaming satellite television, a mini cinema/ film-viewing room, a wide-ranging library of Euorpean film, and high-specification PCs for in-depth film anaylsis.

    DAAD Lektorat

The Deutscher Akademischer Austasuchdienst funds the staff post of Lektor/in in the Department of German Studies, as well as a wide range of other resources and opportunities.
