Professor Paul Smith of the Department of History of Art will participate in a discussion of Manet’s painting and its resonance in contemporary Latin American art at a Mead Gallery Study Day. The event is one of several organised to accompany the exhibition Unreliable Evidence which features the painting The Execution of Maximilian by Edouard Manet.
