    Taught Degrees:

     
    MA in the History of Art
    This course is made up of taught modules and a dissertation completed in one year full time or two years part-time. Two streams are available in 2011-12 as follows:
    • Venice: a unique opportunity to study art and culture in situ in Venice
    • British Art: A new MA stream focusing on British art from the eighteenth century to the present
     
    Diploma in the History of Art
    This programme is ideal for those students wishing to convert to History of Art from a different subject studied over one year full-time or two years part-time
     

    Research Degrees:

    • PhD in the History of Art - three years full-time, five years part-time
    • MPhil in the History of Art - one years full-time, three years part-time
    • MRes in the History of Art - one year full-time, two years part-time
    Students should visit the Staff Research page to identify a potential supervisor for their research and discuss their topic with them before making their application

    Fees and Funding

    MA and Diploma fees for the 2010-11 academic year are £4,700 for home students, and £11,500 for overseas students. Details of fees for the academic year 2011/12 will be published by the Academic Office shortly. For details of bursaries and scholarships, click here.

    How to apply
    You can apply online via the university website, the application form is the same for all postgraduate degrees.
     
    IESA
    Warwick also validates a two year MA course at the Institut d'Etudes Supérieure des Arts (IESA) in Paris on the History and Business of Art and Collecting. This course is devised and delivered by IESA.
