Postgraduate Study in Venice: MA and PhD degrees
Warwick's Venice Programme offers unique opportunities for graduate study. We have recently introduced a new MA degree, 'Venice and Its Legacy', which combines the history of Venetian painting and architecture with interdisiplinary options on Venetian culture. The degree addresses the city's varied roles as Europe's principal centre for the production of luxury goods during the Renaissance (printing, glass etc.) and, latterly, as one of the key aesthetic reference points in the Western tradition. PhD students are also attached to the Venice Programme, contributing to its rich and burgeoning research culture.
