    Details about CAS

« Previous page Next page »

CAS teaches is a small and friendly degree course, History, Literature and Culture of the Americas, with an intake of 25 to 30 students each year. Its core staff belong to Warwick's internationally renowned History Department, which has earned the highest ratings for its research and teaching and which is consistently ranked as one of the best in the UK. CAS also offers courses in Warwick's highly-regarded Departments of English, Politics, and Film Studies.

Most American Studies degrees focus on the United States, or the USA and Canada. Warwick's History, Literature and Culture of the Americas degree is different because it looks at the Americas as a whole: the USA and Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Our courses on the history, literature, culture and politics of the Americas offer multi-disciplinary study of this important region of the world. Our Year Abroad provides first-hand experience of living and studying in a part of the Americas.
