Art & Death in Neronian Culture - Organization

There are two 1-hour meetings timetabled for each week of term apart from Reading Week (Wk 6):

    Tuesdays 4-5pm in Rm H.5.22

    Thursdays 3-4pm in Rm H.3.22

Generally the first meeting each week will be a lecture introducing new material; the second meeting will usually have more of a class/seminar format with topics discussed in the light of reading and questions proposed at the end of the previous week. However this basic scheme will vary occasionally according to the nature of topics presented.

For a subject of this range and import, not all the material can be presented in lectures or classes. Students should therefore expect to do the prescribed reading and to have thought sufficiently about the issues in order to make constructive oral contributions.
