Postdoc Tutor Teaching Application

Please fill in this form if you will have gained your PhD (or submitted it to the Graduate School and your supervisor supports your teaching) by the start of the academic year during which you wish to teach. If you will still be a PhD student, please follow this link to the PhD Tutor Teaching Application instead.

The department is very aware of how lucky it is to have so many excellent postdoctoral teachers contributing to the high quality teaching on its courses. We are immensely grateful for the commitment and expertise shown by these valued staff members. Sadly, there is likely to be much less teaching available for postdoctoral tutors from 2017-18 onwards, and most of this teaching will be on 1st year modules.

NB Because of wide-ranging changes to the way the University remunerates sessional staff, from 2017-18 the department will be seeking postdoctoral tutors who wish to teach 4 sessions or more of each module. You should bear this in mind when applying for teaching across more than one module.

Please indicate in order of preference which module(s) you would be interested in teaching. Most tutors will indicate up to 3.
