British author Alan Garner talks to Warwick University's Peter Dunn on the occasion of receiving an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters in January 2011. The degree formed part of a year of celebrations for Garner as October 2010 marked the 50th anniversary of his first published novel The Weirdstone of Brisingamen. The book has never been out of print and has been enjoyed by several generations of children.
