    Research Profile

    José Arroyo is currently researching the effect of changing mediascapes on traditional questions in film aesthetics.

    His ongoing interests include issues of national and sexual representation, Spanish cinema and contemporary Hollywood cinema.

    He is currently writing on Antonio Banderas and Javier Bardem, and his next project is on ‘Impact’ Aesthetics. He is a regular reviewer for Sight and Sound.
