You can find the illuminations to Yvain in B.N. fr. 1433 (a Picard manuscript dated to the end of the 13th century) on this database. The easiest way of locating all the images for this manuscript is:
- To click on ‘Recherche’
- By the 'Cote' field, click on ‘Index’ and select ‘Français’ in the left-hand column, followed by ‘1433’ in the menu that will appear on the right.
- Click ‘Chercher’ and you’ll see a list of results.
- To display all the results from this manuscript, click ‘Images’ in the top section of the results page.
Bear in mind that some of the illuminations will accompany other texts (you should check the titles to help you identify the relevant reproductions). There will also be some duplication in the results (i.e. the same image may appear several times). If you want to download images, display the image on full screen, right click on it and select ‘Save picture as’; you can then select a destination on your computer as you would to save any other file.
