Welcome - Wilkommen
This is a unique and dynamic environment. The department’s pioneering ‘cultural studies’ approach informs our substantial undergraduate and postgraduate teaching curriculum. Our staff’s wide-ranging research interests – from eighteenth-century literature to twentieth-century aesthetics and contemporary fiction, from German-Jewish studies and transnational culture to memories of war, German terrorism, and prison writing – inform our teaching and are reflected in our high-profile publications.
Our careers service will support you for three years after graduating and our graduates' success rates are excellent. We look forward to welcoming you to our community of students and scholars.
