Ruth Semple is currently finishing off her diploma in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester. Although specialising in medical history for her MA and MLitt at St Andrews, she has a commitment to communicating the history of medicine to a wider audience. Ruth worked as an exhibition assistant on A Healing Passion: Medicine in Glasgow Past and Present at the Hunterian Museum in Glasgow. She has also developed and delivered object handling workshops based around the theme of Medieval medicine at Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham. Her other passions include music, dancing, chess, film and astronomy.
