    Dr Norwood Andrews

Norwood Andrews was a Research Assistant on the Wellcome Trust-funded project 'Medical History, Immersive Museum Theatre, and 'The Last Women''. In 2004-05 he was Outstanding Young Researcher at Warwick, and he received his PhD from the Department of History at the University of Texas, Austin, in 2007. In his role he undertook and published historical research on the theme of medicine and public execution; contributed to ‘The Last Women’ as a specialist-participant; and drew on this experience in evaluating the interaction between historical research and Immersive Museum Theatre as a route for public engagement within the history of medicine.
