Imperial Coaling: Steam-power, the Royal Navy and British Imperial Coaling stations circa. 1870-1914
I began my PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London, in October 2010, transferring to Warwick in September 2011. I am primarily interested in Imperial networks, governance, geopolitics and cultural interactions in the second half of the nineteenth and early part of the twentieth century. More details of my project can be found under 'My Research'. My blog can be found at: sjgray.blogspot.com, and my twitter is @sjgray86.
