The MA by Research in Hispanic Studies is for independent researchers who have a well-defined topic.

Duration: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time
Assessment: 40,000 word dissertation

Hispanic Studies at Warwick encompasses a wide and dynamic range of areas and topics from the 16th century to the present day. We have particular strengths in literature, film and sound studies, cultural history and memory, the environmental humanities and translation studies within the broader context of Spain and Latin America. An outstanding research environment

In addition to working closely with the Hispanic Studies team, postgraduate researchers in Hispanic Studies will be able to draw on Warwick's existing strength, depth and experience in supporting outstanding postgraduate research in related areas, including Modern Languages (French, German, Italian) and Translation Studies, Comparative American Studies, English and Comparative Literary Studies, Caribbean Studies and Global History and Culture. You will be a member of Warwick's Doctoral College and will have the opportunity to access the facilities of Warwick research centres such as the Institute of Advanced Study and the Humanities Research Centre.
