Editing Hester Pulter

This is a University of Warwick project to produce an online edition of Lady Hester Pulter's manuscript poetry, which was produced in England during the mid-seventeenth century. Pulter's extensive literary manuscript, comprising both poetry and prose, remained widely unknown and unread until it was uncovered by Mark Robson in the Leeds University Brotherton Library in 1996. Annotation for the text has been researched and submitted by second-year undergraduate students on the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies module 'Seventeenth-century Literature and Culture' (EN228).
