Culture, Space and Power: Peopling the Built Environment in Renaissance England c.1450-1700


The first workshop seminar took place at Warwick University's Arden House Conference facilities from 9-22 July 2006. In attendance were the conveynors Prof. Steve Hindle and PD Dr. Beat Kumin, Visiting Fellows Majorie Rubright and Meredith Donaldson, and 18 Workshop Fellows from Warwick and other Newberry Consortium Institutions from North America.

These pages present our findings and a venue for further discussions of the themes surrounding Space which arose during the two week workshop seminar.
