The Centre for the Study of the Renaissance of the University of Warwick (UK) and the Center for Renaissance Studies of the Newberry Library, Chicago invited applications for two Visiting Research Fellowships to be held at the University of Warwick, and one Visiting Research Fellowship to be held at the Newberry Library, Chicago.
University of Warwick Visiting Research Fellowships x 2
Each fellowship supports, up to a value of £6,000: travel to and from Warwick; a subsistence and accommodation allowance of up to £400 per week; a small research fund (£300 per fellow) e.g. to facilitate travel to neighbouring libraries and research collections (for Warwick applicants only). The Warwick-based Fellowships were for two to three months (eight to twelve weeks).
The Newberry Library Visiting Research Fellowship x 1
Each fellowship supports, up to a value of $9,600: travel to and from the Newberry Library; a subsistence and accommodation allowance of up to $1,030 per week; The Newberry-based Fellowship is for two months (eight weeks).
All Fellowships were taken up in the Spring, Summer or Autumn of 2009.
