Application Deadlines for 2015 entry:
UK/EU applicants: 30th June 2015.
Non-EU International applicants: 30th June 2015.
You will need an unconditional offer to start the programme, and so we strongly recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
Online application: apply via the University of Warwick, the coordinating institution for the Consortium. Click on the following link On-line Application Form to access the online application portal. To register your application and gain access to the form, you must enter a valid email and an easily remembered password. Make sure that you choose the correct course code: P-W4PA.
If you are unable to apply on-line, you can do so with a paper application form. You need to request the form from the University of Warwick's Student Recruitment department, via email@example.com. If you choose this option, it is your responsibility to make sure that the completed application form and all the required support documents are sent to Postgraduate Admissions in enough time to arrive by the relevant MAIPR deadline. You must also include the application fee (see below).
Application fee: Warwick's Postgraduate Admissions levy a non-refundable application handling fee for all taught postgraduate courses, including the MAIPR. From January 2015, the fees are:
- Online application: £50.00
- Paper application: £75.00
You must pay the application fee. If you do not, your application will not be forwarded to us for consideration. The fee may be paid on-line by credit or debit card, or through the post by a Banker's Draft made out to 'The University of Warwick'. If you do not have a credit or debit card, ask someone else to pay on your behalf, for example a parent or partner.
NOTE: all applications must be submitted to the University of Warwick. However, while the application form is geared towards Warwick, you are applying for the programme, which includes studying at the other partner institutions.
Supporting documentation: what we need from you! You need to back-up your application with supporting documentation (click on MAIPR Application: what we need from you!) The best way to supply this quickly is by using the supporting document upload facility. Postgraduate Admissions will give you directions by email on how to do this once you have submitted and paid for your application.
Very important: you must contact both your referees in enough time to allow them to prepare their references so they can be received by the deadline. You should also allow plenty of time to obtain your transcripts and/or degree certificates, especially if you need to get them translated into English by an official translation service.
If you are offered a place on the MAIPR programme, to make your offer unconditional you must send the originals or officially attested copies of your support documentation through the post to the following address:
Postgraduate Team 2
The Postgraduate Admissions Team
Student Admissions and Recruitment Office
The University of Warwick
COVENTRY, CV4 8UW
Photocopies of the aforementioned documents, either posted to us or sent by email, unfortunately cannot be accepted for an unconditional offer. You must send in the orginals or officially attested documents.
Assessment Criteria: faculty from the three partner institutions will consider your materials using the following criteria:
- Academic Potential: 60%
- Motivation: 20%
- Recommendations: 15%
- Language Skills: 5%
