Title: How do we create a Vital City of 1.1 million happy and healthy people by provoking both physical and social activity as part of people’s daily lives?

Abstract:

In my talk I will explore the social, physical and environmental challenges the City of Birmingham faces. I will illustrate inspirational examples of how to overcome these challenges from across the globe. Finally, I will weave in opportunities for practical innovation, experimentation and collaboration as I proposed Birmingham as the field laboratory in setting out on a journey to become a leading Vital City.
