Useful Information for Incoming Students

Immigration advice:
The International Office provides a free and confidential immigration advice service for all international students.

Students Visas:
International students coming to the UK to study for more than 6 months are required to apply for a student Visa before travelling. If you are studying for less than 6 months, you will also be able to apply before travelling, but some nationalities may also have the option of applying for a short-term ‘students visitor’ Visa on arrival.
