As a general rule we would ask you not to read a paper coauthored by a member of your department. Papers by researchers outside the UK should be preferred.

There will be a white-board in the lecture room. A computer projector will be available.

We would ask each participant to prepare a 1-2 page abstract containing basic definitions, theorems, etc. This will help the audience to follow your talk. Please send us the abstract by email by July 1. We will make copies for other participants.
