Assessment

What does the History Subject Centre do in the field of assessment?

AssessmentHigher education faces many concerns and contradictions in its pursuit of effectice practice in learning, teaching and assessment. The assessment of students is an issue of central concern to everyone in higher education. Many educators are now actively looking at assessment as a means not only to grade students, but also as a primary tool to assist in the learning process. The Subject Centre works to maintain quality of student assessment through both traditional and non-standard assessment practices such as involving students in self, peer or group assessment.
