Julie Fish's work engages with health inequalities and social work; in particular, she has recently undertaken research in cancer inequalities and plans to research the social care needs of people living with and beyond cancer. Her networking skills are evidenced through, for instance, her membership of several England and Wales Department of Health Advisory Groups, her previous convernorship of the BSA Lesbian studies group and her membership of the ESRC Researcher Development Initiative 2 in Social Work. She has published the widely read text ‘Heterosexism in Health and Social Care’ (2006) and has contributed to 'Social Work and Global Health Inequalities' (2009). |
