Training for Undergraduate Authors and Peer Reviewers

If you are considering writing a paper for the Reinvention journal but are unsure of where to start why not sign up for one of our writing for publication training sessions?

Sessions will cover:

  • An introduction to writing for publication
  • Writing for publication in academic journals
  • Preparing a manuscript for submission
  • The publication process
  • Reinvention: a Journal of Undergraduate Research
  • Peer review

Being a published author is very useful experience, whether you want to study further, or whether you want to move into the world of work, and it will look great on your CV!

You can learn about how academic publishing works, what to do (or not to do!) when submitting to journals, and how to write a paper that stands a great chance of being published

You can also learn about the process of peer review and become a reviewer yourself for Reinvention: a Journal of Undergraduate Research

These sessions are open to any undergraduate student, not just those studying at Warwick. If you would like to know more or would like to book to attend one of the sessions please complete our booking form.

The date of the next session will be added to this website when it has been confirmed. Please note that sessions do tend to be over subscribed.
