The Warwick Q-Step Centre was formally launched at an event held on Monday 24 November 2014, 5.30-7.30 at Radcliffe House, University of Warwick.

The event was hosted by Professor Christina Hughes (Pro-Vice-Chancellor) in her capacity as Chair of the Warwick Q-Step Advisory Board. She welcomed guests to the Launch and spoke of her longstanding involvement with the Q-Step initiative.

Guest speakers Sir George Cox (Pro-Chancellor and Chair of Council) and Sharon Witherspoon MBE (Director of Nuffield Foundation) gave short presentations, highlighting the importance of the Q-Step programme both nationally and locally. They also commended the achievements of the Centre, which included the introduction of two new quantitative methods degrees within the first year of operation.

Special thanks were extended to Dr Emma Uprichard, Direct of the Q-Step Centre, for her efforts in establishing the Q-Step Centre and contributing to its success.

In launching the Warwick Q-Step Centre, members of the Q-Step team were joined by guests from within and outside the University. These included Heads of Departments, colleagues from key central services, members of the Advisory Board and representative from the Nuffield Foundation.
