Flexicates: novel chemical entities with novel modes of action.

Flexicates are novel chemical entities created by Prof Scott in Chemistry (Howson 2012). We have data to confirm many have potent antimicrobial activities against diverse Gram-positive and negative pathogens, including the so-called ESKAPE bacteria.

This project will investigate the molecular mode of action of the flexicates.
