Warwick Environmental Systems Interdisciplinary Centre

The environment around us is constantly changing as a result of natural factors and human activity, and the scale of these changes has been unprecedented in recent years. To secure the future of the planet we must be able to understand these interactions, and the causes of these changes, so that we may react to them. Warwick Environmental Systems Interdisciplinary Centre (WES IC) is a cross-campus initiative that focusses on understanding how changes in the environment will
impact on biological communities, bringing together expertise ranging from plant biology and microbiology, through to engineering and chemistry, to addressing this major research challenge.
