Mums4Mums
A telephone support intervention for mothers suffering with Postnatal depression (PND).
The service is delivered by specially trained peer supporters (mothers who have recovered from PND). It is based on a programme that was developed and evaluated in Canada, and was shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of depression in mothers experiencing postnatal depression. Our aim is to see how effective this type of intervention is for women with PND living in Warwickshire.

We are inviting you to take part in a research study into the effectiveness of a peer telephone support service for mothers suffering from postnatal depression.
1) Before you decide whether you want to take part, it is important for you to understand why the research is being done, and what it will involve.
