    • Evidence from India

      Dr. Anil Gumber has won a ‘Best Poster’ award at the international Health Economics Association (iHEA) 5th World Congress, on ‘Investing in Health’, held in Barcelona on July 10-13, 2005. It was chosen from among almost 500 presentations.

      His poster, "Pattern and Determinants of Health Care Use and Expenditures at the End-of-Life in India", is a summary of Dr. Gumber’s research carried out on Indian health care utilisation and includes six tables as well as his conclusions. It can be seen using the link immediately below.

    • Ethnicity: UK Colorectal Cancer Screening Pilot 
      This study to determine the feasibility of screening for colorectal cancer (CRC) in the UK population using faecal occult blood testing (FOBt ) was carried out in CEEHD.
