University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is responsible for managing three major hospitals in Coventry and Warwickshire, which between them serve a population of over a million.

University Hospital

Hospital of St Cross
The Hospital of St Cross, Rugby is 12 miles from the Walsgrave site and provides acute services for a population of 80,000 plus 20,000 from the borders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
Inpatient services include 28 orthopaedic beds, 14 short stay surgical beds general medical beds.
There is a large Outpatient facility with an average of 3,500 attendances covering a full range of specialities. A total of 54 Consultants from within the Trust's Outpatient facilities provide specialist consultations for the local community... [maps and directions]
