The University of Warwick Cardiovascular and Diabetes Research Network supports inter-disciplinary, collaborative cardiovascular and diabetes research at Warwick University, in the community, in University Trust Hospitals and other affiliated centres. A very broad spectrum of specialities and disciplines are represented.


Aim

To promote cardiovascular and diabetes research, to improve prevention and treatment of diabetes and disorders of the heart, brain and circulation


Objectives

  • To emphasise the strengths in cardiovascular and diabetes research of Warwick University and its affiliated Trusts and institutes
  • To maximise the development of inter-disciplinary collaborative research programmes and their funding
  • To develop a data-base and frameworks for communication
