Clinical Pharmacology
Clinical Pharmacology at Warwick is led by Professor Donald Singer
, foundation holder of the Chair of Clinical Pharmacology at the Medical School at Warwick University and at the University Hospital in Coventry. Professor Singer was in April 2003 the founding Chair of the Division of Clinical Sciences within Warwick Medical School (now the Clinical Sciences Research Institute). Clinical Pharmacology research activity is based at the Clinical Sciences Research Institute at the University Hospital Campus.
Clinical Pharmacology activities
- developing pharmacogenetics applied to personalising medicine efficacy and safety
- improving recognition and prevention of Adverse Drug Reactions
- prevention and treatment of disorders of heart, brain and circulation
- developing an internationally recognized Hypertension Service
