The Area Medicines Network aims to support research into better effectiveness and safety of medicines through studies at Warwick University and its collaborating research centres in Trust Hospitals, in the community and in affiliated academic institutions.

The network has a major interest in Personalised Medicines .

The Network includes the Area Adverse Drug Reactions Network which is working with regional hospital and primary care trusts to develop and implement policy for improved recognition, reporting and prevention of Adverse Drug Reactions.
