What are the patient empowerment needs of post-treatment cancer patients in Denmark? A mixed methods study involving patients in the research process as steering group members, co-researchers and interviewers

This project regarding the post-treatment of cancer patients is funded by the Danish Cancer Society. It will investigate facilitators and barriers to patient empowerment in the follow-up period after treatment for cancer and will explore patients’ expectations of their roles with the use of qualitative interviews and questionnaires. People who have experienced cancer treatment themselves will take part in the project steering group's activities, act as co-researchers and conduct interviews.

The research team includes:

Dr Anna Thit Johnsen (Bispebjerg Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark) (Principal Investigator)

Dr Clara Joergensen
