Emergency Care and Rehabilitation

Emergency care

Aims

In the last 10 years Emergency Care has undergone fundamental changes in the way services are delivered to patients; new ways of working, for example, fast track and point of care testing have led to improvements in patient care and achieved reductions in waiting times. The interdependency of services means improvements cannot be achieved in isolation and a whole system approach is necessary.
Warwick Emergency Care undertakes high quality research which crosses service boundaries to include: prehospital care, social care, rehabilitation, and primary care, to provide evidence to  directly  inform policy and decision makers to ensure optimal care and appropriate utilisation of resources.

Full details of all current and past research projects with links to publications are available below.
