About us
Our goals
- to undertake internationally important primary care research, that is of relevance to the priorities and needs of the local population
- to involve increasing numbers of local practitioners in primary care research, through encouraging greater awareness of research and participation in projects
- to support local practitioners to develop research ideas – ideas that have the potential to lead to major research studies
- to create opportunities for non-clinical researchers to develop a career in primary care research
- to encourage collaboration between Coventry and Warwick Universities.
WC-PCR is unique among primary care academic units in the breadth and depth of its research anddevelopment activities. WC-PCR's major strengths are it's multi-disciplinarity and the links that it has established with local and national NHS organisations.
