Research methods for health care practice

Many health professionals want to investigate their health care practice and how it could be improved to benefit their patients. Such research if done well can contribute new understanding of health and health care more generally. This type of research required careful attention to the context in which it is undertaken and how this changes with time. Data collection may use qualitative or quantitative methods or both. Analysis would usually involve comparative methods.

This approach to research is described in detail in the following book.
