Research Design Service
West Midlands Regional Design Service
Warwick Medical School is one of three designated hubs for the West Midlands Research Design Service (WMRDS). The WMRDS has been commissioned by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to help researchers in the local area develop and design high quality research proposals for submission to the Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) Programme. Through the Warwick RDS, medical, health and social care researchers will be given access to specialist advice on research methodologies and protocol development.
Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB)
The NIHR RfPB Programme is a national, peer-reviewed funding programme for high quality investigator-led applied research projects that address issues of importance to the NHS. It funds research that has a clear focus on day-to-day practice within the NHS. This national response-mode funding programme supports high quality, investigator led research that is relevant to the NHS. All NHS researchers across England can apply. NIHR provide deadlines for RfPB calls and competitions.
