BACKGROUNDBart studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin, graduating in 1991. He did his clinical training in psychiatry in Oxford and at the Maudsley Hospital. He spent three years as Lecturer in Old Age Psychiatry in Oxford, where he completed his MD research project, before taking up his current post in October 2002. He is a clinical academic, combining his teaching role (leading psychiatry course at WMS), research portfolio, and working as consultant Old Age psychiatrist for the Rugby sector of the local Trust. |
