Child Health
Developed to respond to changes in continuing professional development and child health service provision, these postgraduate level courses provide advanced, multidisciplinary training in child health for experienced child health practitioners from the United Kingdom and overseas.
Entry Criteria
Applicants should preferably be from a medical or other health care professional background, with a minimum of 3 years post graduate professional experience. Consideration will be given to other applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience within a Child Health setting, and an ability to study at Masters level.
Any of the PGA modules can be taken individually, either as an assessed qualification or on a non-assessed basis, to support continuing professional development. Assessed programmes usually carry Masters level credits which can be built up towards a postgraduate qualification. The following courses are available:
Taught Masters Programmes
WMS offers three Masters programmes which can be studied over a period of 2–8 years part time or 1 year full time.
