    Course Structure (post 2008)

    Candidates for the MSc are required to successfully complete either of the following programmes of study:

    MSc with Professional Project
    • Three core modules
    • Four optional modules
    • Professional Project
    MSc with Dissertation
    • Three core modules
    • Two optional modules
    • A research methods module, approved by Course Director
    • Dissertation

    N.B. Once a Master’s student registers to complete the Dissertation or Professional Project as the final module of the course, the ‘expected end date’ of the course will be set to the end of the academic year.

    All modules will be assessed in accordance with the University’s Regulations Governing the Constitution and Duties of Boards of Examiners for Masters Degrees by Examination and Dissertation.

    Not all modules listed are necessarily available in any one academic year, and modules not listed here may be available, subject to entry requirements and approval from the Course Director.
