Course Structure: MSc in Lingual Orthodontics

Candidates for the MSc are required to follow the following programme of study:

  • Professional Project

    Taught Core Module List:

    The Principles of Lingual Orthodontics is a prerequisite for all other modules in the course and must be taken in year 1.

    Postgraduate Diploma

    Candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma are required to successfully complete:

    • The Principles of Lingual Orthodontics [MD956-60]
    • Clinical Practice in Lingual Orthodontics [MD957-60]

    Postgraduate Certificate

    Candidates for the Postgraduate Certificate are required to successfully complete:

    • The Principles of Lingual Orthodontics [MD956-60]

      Certificate stage

      Diploma stage

      MSc stage

      • Introduction day(s) Foundation Course
      • Principles of Lingual Orthodontics
        (MD956) 60 CATS
      • Ten study days, to include case presentations
      • Clinical Practice in Lingual Orthodontics (MD957) 60 CATS
      • Multidisciplinary Treatment and Orthodontic Force Systems (MD948) 20 CATS
      • Professional Project (MD955) 40 CATS
